Our full Camp Program Guide — please review before your gymnast's first day of camp.
El Paso Gymnastics (EPG) abides by all standards regulating childcare as prescribed by the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services. To obtain full compliance with these standards, parents must complete enrollment forms entirely and, as necessary, update that information throughout the year.

Parents must provide registration information and accept EPG waiver forms online prior to participating in camp. A spot is only held once payment is made in full at the time of registration — we cannot hold spots without payment. See our Camps page for current weekly pricing. If campers are not picked up by 3:15 pm, they will be added to extended care and the account will be charged accordingly.
All EPG students must be signed in and out of the program each day. Staff will only release children to authorized adults listed on the enrollment form who can provide a photo ID. No child will be released to anyone not listed unless a parent or guardian notifies EPG in advance.
Parents who pick up their child more than 15 minutes late will be charged $5. If a child is left more than 30 minutes and calls go unanswered, El Paso Gymnastics is required to call the El Paso Police Department.
Daily activities may include group games, sports, arts & crafts, fitness, and gymnastics — a mix of structured time and free play. For outdoor activities, EPG may assist with sunscreen or bug spray but does not provide it. Before any water activity, a signed permission slip is required, and campers must bring a bathing suit, change of clothes, towel, and sunscreen — campers without these items can't participate.
EPG provides a snack twice a day. We do not provide lunch — please send your camper with a healthy lunch each day.
Please don't send campers with gum, toys, jewelry, video games, cell phones, laptops, tablets, radios, money, or any weapon — including toy weapons that shoot or explode, DS Players/handheld gaming devices, firearms, hunting knives, bows and arrows, or alcohol/drugs of any kind. EPG isn't responsible for lost, broken, or stolen items — anything on this list that shows up will be confiscated and returned to the parent at the end of the day, and disciplinary action may follow. If a camper must have a cell phone, it should be turned in to the front office for emergency use only.
We'll notify parents in person, by phone, or in writing about any special discipline problems or communicable diseases in the program, and in writing for any policy changes. Parents may visit the camp site at any time (please notify staff on arrival) and observe from the lobby area without disrupting camp activities. We provide a comfortable, seated space for a mother who needs to breastfeed her child.
To receive a refund, you must cancel your camp week at least two days before it starts — cancellations during the camp week aren't eligible for a refund. A documented medical emergency may qualify for a refund; if credit is given instead, it can only be used toward events and merchandise.
Participants may be withdrawn from the program for behavior that endangers the participant, other children, or staff; failure to pay program fees; or consistently late pick-ups.
As required by the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services, discipline at EPG is individualized, age-appropriate, and focused on teaching acceptable behavior — using praise, reminders, positive redirection, and brief supervised time-outs (no more than one minute per year of the child's age). Harsh, cruel, or unusual treatment is never permitted, including corporal punishment, punishment tied to food/naps/restroom use, or any form of physical or verbal abuse.
EPG uses a three-step warning system for inappropriate behavior: a verbal warning, a supervised time-out, and — if needed — a final warning involving the Camp Director, with parents informed at pick-up. A student who is deemed out of control may be picked up immediately, and repeated issues can lead to temporary suspension or permanent dismissal (with a prorated refund of appropriate fees for permanent dismissal).

Anyone who suspects a child is being abused or neglected is required by Texas law to report it. Call the DFPS Abuse Hotline at 1-800-252-5400 (available 24/7) or report online at txabusehotline.org. El Paso Gymnastics abides by all childcare standards prescribed by the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services (TDFPS). Parents are required to acknowledge receipt of this Program Guide.
