Everything families ask us about getting started, tuition, attendance, skill progression, and our gym services — organized by topic.
Yes, we offer a Free Introductory Trial Class for all new families. You can request your free introductory session directly through our registration page so your child can experience our fun gym environment before you commit to a month-to-month plan.
We offer structured programs for athletes from 18 months up to 18 years old — from specialized preschool areas with downsized equipment for toddlers, all the way up to full-scale training setups for our older recreational and competitive gymnasts.
Yes, you can enroll your child at any point during the year. Because our coaches track skill progression individually for every single child, your student will never feel "behind" when jumping into an active class.
Children should wear active gym clothes, go barefoot, and pull long hair back. Clothing: shorts and a form-fitting t-shirt are perfect — please avoid zippers, buttons, or loose drawstrings, and tights must be footless. Footwear: children train barefoot, so slip-on shoes or slides are easiest to kick off before the training floor. Safety: pull long hair back securely into a ponytail and leave jewelry at home (small stud earrings are the only exception).
Recreational and preschool classes are 55 minutes long and feature structured event rotations. Every class starts with a standard 10-minute warm-up, followed by three 15-minute event rotations. We alternate events every week among the Vault, Floor, Beam, and Bars to provide a well-rounded gymnastics education.
Our most current, up-to-the-minute class times are always viewable live on our Parent Portal or through our website wizard. Because class availability updates dynamically as new sessions fill up or open, we keep our digital schedule live online rather than printing a static calendar.
Every coach is fully trained in-house and holds professional USAG and safety certifications. All EPG instructors must complete a rigorous training program and maintain up-to-date certifications in First Aid/CPR, USA Gymnastics (USAG) Fundamentals of Instruction, and USAG Safety & Risk Management. Staff also participate in mandatory monthly training sessions to reinforce technical safety and positive coaching methods.
No, all enrollments run on a flexible, month-to-month agreement. There are no annual commitments, so you can manage your child's activities around your family's changing schedule.
Gymnastics & Tumbling: a standard fee of $36.00 (+ tax) per family is due at registration and renews annually. Ninja Kids: new ninjas pay a one-time $36.00 (+ tax) registration fee that fully covers their official Ninja uniform shirt and arm sleeve — after their first year, Ninja families transition to our regular annual family fee.
Tuition is due on the 1st of each calendar month. Our tuition cycles are structured around consistent 4-week billing periods all year long, so budgeting stays predictable.
Autopay Accounts: your account is automatically drafted on the 1st of each month via credit card, debit card, or bank account securely stored in our encrypted Jackrabbit system — no security deposit required, and it stays active until you submit a written class withdrawal notice. Month-to-Month Manual Accounts: you're responsible for submitting payment by the 5th of each month, and a $50.00 security deposit is required at registration to hold your child's spot.
Manual payments received after the 5th of the month are subject to a late fee penalty. If your primary card on file is declined during an Autopay run, our system immediately sends an alert so you can log into the Parent Portal and update your card details before penalties apply.
Parents are only required to stay if their child is enrolled in our Preschool Program, since preschool students frequently need a parent nearby to guide them to the restroom or help with apparel. For our older recreational levels, you're welcome to sit in our viewing area or use that time to run quick errands.
Please report your child's absence at least one hour before class starts to qualify for a make-up. To log an absence, use your Jackrabbit Parent Portal or call the front office directly — simply telling an instructor does not record it in our system and will disqualify the absence for a make-up.
We offer up to two complimentary make-up classes per session when reported in advance. All make-up classes must be scheduled ahead of time through the office or Parent Portal; walk-ins aren't permitted, to maintain safe coach-to-student ratios. Make-up spots are subject to availability and may occasionally be rescheduled by EPG if that spot is needed for a new student enrollment. Discounted programs, such as Homeschool classes, are excluded from make-ups.
No, we do not offer make-up classes for scheduled, annual gym closures. Our monthly tuition is calculated based on 48 weeks of classes per year (divided into 12 even monthly cycles) — the remaining four weeks are planned closure weeks for holidays and staff training, and because you're never billed for those four weeks, make-up classes aren't issued.
We require a 2-week written notice to formally drop a class. Please submit your written drop notice to the front desk or via email so our administration team can stop your monthly billing cycle before the next draft.
No, we cannot freeze accounts or hold class spots without active tuition payments. Because our classes maintain high demand and active waiting lists, you have two options if you must step away: stay current with your regular monthly payments to guarantee your exact spot is held, or drop the class and re-enroll in whatever open spaces are available when you return.
All skill progression is tracked digitally and can be viewed live in your Parent Portal. Our coaches update your child's achievements in real time, and the portal shows the exact skills required for their level across bars, beam, vault, and floor — with helpful video clips of each skill so you can see exactly what your child is mastering.
Our curriculum is broken into 4 distinct skill event sets. Once an athlete masters a full set for an event, they receive an achievement ribbon. When they collect all 4 event ribbons, the coach nominates them for a formal evaluation held during their next regular class. Passing students receive a level completion medal, and parents are notified to select their new, advanced class time.
Progression is entirely unique to each individual child based on coordination, confidence, and consistency. Gymnastics requires a significant amount of repetition to master skills safely — our primary goal is to celebrate every personal victory along the way while ensuring your child progresses at a pace that keeps them feeling confident and safe.
Encourage general strength and flexibility exercises at home, but keep gymnastics skills in the gym. Fun conditioning like jumping jacks, bear crawls, planks, and basic stretching are excellent for building athletic foundations. For safety and injury prevention, complex skills like tumbling, bridging, or flips must stay strictly on the gym floor under coach supervision.
One class a week is our standard program, but we recommend two classes a week for faster progress — attending twice a week significantly improves muscle memory and skill retention. For our preschoolers, we recommend a maximum of two classes a week so our specialized themed lesson plans remain fresh and exciting. Advanced levels are encouraged to add additional days as skill complexities increase.
Yes, you can upgrade your weekly classes or swap days at any time, based on availability. Simply request the change at the front desk and our team will adjust your roster instantly.
Yes, private lessons are available and can be booked directly through the front desk. You can speak with your child's instructor about their personal weekly availability and lock in the appointment at the counter, or leave your preferred days and times with the front desk team and they'll pair you with an available coach.
Our facility, viewing areas, mats, and training equipment are deep-cleaned and sanitized every single day, keeping a fresh, healthy space where your family can always feel comfortable.
We maintain a strict, zero-tolerance policy for bullying or disruptive behavior. EPG is fully dedicated to keeping our facility a safe, positive, and encouraging environment for children — any behavior that compromises the emotional or physical safety of our athletes is addressed immediately with supportive guidance and direct parental communication.
Our staff is fully certified in first aid, and we happily adapt our lesson plans for specialized physical needs. In the rare event of a minor scrape or sprain, our USAG safety-certified coaches are equipped to administer immediate first aid. If your child requires physical modifications or is managing a pre-existing medical condition, please notify the front office so our instructors can proactively tailor the lesson plans to keep them participating safely.
Yes, we host 2-hour private birthday parties for up to 25 children with exclusive gym access. Our staff handles all the entertainment, games, and obstacle courses on the floor while you relax, and we offer multiple customizable packages including features like jumping balloons. Bookings require a completed party packet and a $250.00 deposit submitted to the front desk.
Kids' Night Out is our supervised Saturday evening event from 6:00 PM to 11:00 PM that includes dinner. Priced at $19.00 per child, KNO gives parents a night off while children enjoy hours of open play, cooperative games, and a full meal. You can secure a slot directly through your Parent Portal dashboard.
Yes, we offer comprehensive day camps from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM during all major EPISD school holiday breaks. Our camps feature full days of physical activities, games, and technical skills tracking. For working parents, extended care options are available until 5:30 PM — keep an eye on our Parent Portal as seasonal school breaks approach to secure enrollment slots.
We offer focused Saturday clinics for specific challenging skills to help students progress and move up faster. Our targeted clinics focus intensely on mastering individual, milestone gymnastics skills — we offer dedicated clinics for Cartwheels, Round-offs, Backbend Kickovers, and Bars Progression.
Clinics are held on Saturdays, last 55 minutes, and cost only $5.00 per class — an affordable way to give your gymnast a focused boost of extra coaching right when they need it most.
Our Saturday clinics are open to both current EPG members and non-members. You do not need to be enrolled in our monthly classes to take advantage of these sessions — they're a fantastic, low-commitment way for community members, friends, or neighborhood kids to come in, learn a specific skill, and experience our facility.
You can register weekly for individual clinics online through our Parent Portal or Guest Portal. Because these sessions focus on specific individual skills rather than a month-to-month commitment, you can register for them as needed. Spaces are limited, so we recommend reserving your child's spot early in the week.
